ABOUT NATALIE MONGA

Natalie Monga is currently studying journalism and space studies at American University. As a member of AWOL, a student publication at AU, she is pursuing a path in photojournalism and multimedia production. She has published multiple photo essays highlighting D.C.’s cultural diversity and one video package spotlighting student musicians. She has also helped produce two documentaries, one examining accessibility on college campuses and the other investigating greek life at AU. Monga is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices in her communities through visual and audio storytelling.
